Any new material and music books will be supplied to you in lessons - Lucy has excellent knowledge of the most appropriate publications and books that are required for each individual

Progress reviews if required on a 6 monthly basis, as well as detailed lesson notes and practice points for parents

Piano Lessons
Piano lessons can be tailored to each pupils requirement, whether it be refresher teaching for those who haven't played for a while or lessons for complete beginners, adults and children alike. Lucy also welcomes pupils who can already play and will take on new students who are at any level up to advanced players.

Flute Lessons
Flute lessons are tailored as per pupil requirements from beginners to advanced players. At the moment Lucy cannot offer any flute hire, but she can recommend the best places to go to do this.

Music Theory
A basic knowledge of music through learning music theory is essential in a general education of any instrument.
Lucy likes to spend 5-10 minutes at the end of each lesson looking at some music theory, especially with the young children - through specialist materials which make the learning fun and exciting. Music theory reinforces what they have learnt in their instrument lesson and is an additional skill which is important for development into higher standards of performance.
Music theory is optional for adults, however is offered in piano and flute lessons as an extra, or on a separate lesson basis.
